We wanted to create an event where dogs are just as welcome as the people who bring them. B.Y.O.D. brings together dog owners, local pet businesses, and activities designed for both dogs and their humans. It’s a chance to explore, meet new people, discover great local brands, and spend the day doing something fun with your dog.

The DoubleTree by Hilton North Vancouver is proud to host B.Y.O.D. As one of the most dog-friendly hotels on the North Shore, we’re bringing together dog owners, local pet businesses, and activities for both dogs and their humans. Guests can explore local pet vendors, enjoy activities designed for dogs, and spend the afternoon connecting with other dog owners.
Dogs Bringing People Together in Places That Love Dogs
At the event, guests can relax and enjoy the spaces around the hotel, including the Beer Garden and The Pub, both of which welcome dogs on their patios. These spaces are dog-friendly year-round, so guests can return with their dogs even after the event. BjornBar will also be open throughout the day, making it easy to grab a coffee or treat and relax in the hotel lobby. We will also feature unique experiences throughout the day, including dog reiki sessions for those interested in holistic wellness for their pets.
